French Palmiers (2 Ingredients!) – The Perfect Sweet Bite for Coffee

Light, flaky, and perfectly caramelized, these 2-ingredient French Palmiers are the easiest way to elevate your coffee table—especially around the holidays. Made with simple, clean ingredients and ready in minutes, they bring that bakery-style feel right into your kitchen without the extra fuss.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • Optional: ½–1 tsp cinnamon (for a cozy flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on your work surface. Place puff pastry on top and roll into a smooth rectangle.

  3. Sprinkle half of the sugar over the pastry and lightly roll to press it in.

  4. Roll both short sides inward toward the center until they meet (creating a scroll shape).

  5. Gently press the roll to about 2 inches thick, then slice into ½-inch pieces.

  6. Place on baking sheet and bake for 6 minutes.

  7. Flip each piece and bake an additional 6 minutes, or until golden and caramelized.
