A woman and a young boy sitting on a wooden bench outside near a fire pit. The woman is smiling, holding a cup, and wearing a cream fleece jacket and black pants. The boy is leaning into her, smiling, wearing a gray beanie and a blue and gray hoodie with matching pants. Behind them is a large window with backpacks and bags visible inside.

Hi, I’m Mecca—the heart behind Made By Mecca.

Since I was very little, I lived for the Food Network Channel and spent countless hours in the kitchen recording “Mecca’s Minute Meals”—my own cooking videos on an actual camera, convinced I had a show of my own. Even then, food felt like something special—something that brought people together.

Today, our home is still centered around food. I love hosting, cooking, baking, and creating meals that make people feel welcome. But as I’ve grown, so has the way I approach what I eat. I’ve become very intentional about what goes into my kitchen—I want to know what I’m putting in my body. No overload of sugars, no unnecessary ingredients. If it’s in my kitchen, it’s clean, simple, and something I feel good about serving to my family.

Some days that looks like quick, comforting recipes that get dinner on the table without stress. Other days, it’s slowing down, trying something new, and spending extra time in the kitchen—often with my toddler right beside me, learning how to cook and create.

These are the dishes I make for my family, my friends, and myself. If it’s here, it’s been cooked, tested, and loved—and I’m pretty sure I wrote down the ingredients and actually measured… pretty sure.

Made with love,
Mecca 🤍
